gia Award 2011/2012 - Brazilian Stage

106 years old, Doural is the oldest operating shop in Brazil, located at the traditional "Rua 25 de Março", one of the main shopping tours in Brazil.

It started working with fabrics and today offers the best items from bed, table and bath, still choosing throughout the world the best suppliers of top quality rugs and main trendy products.

It sells more than 45, 000 domestic and imported items, also exclusive products, such as Gourmet items with the best domestic and imported brands of housewares, being exclusive importer of the following brands from France: Cristel, Mauviel, Emile Henry and Evercut , from England: Gordon Ramsay and Joseph and Joseph and from England: Gefu.

All the experience of years has brought the luxury to "Rua 25 de Março", but respecting the product mix, which has always attended all social classes in Brazil.

 

gia Award 2010-2011

Marli Trentin shop in Caxias do Sul (RS), was awarded as one of the best shops in the world at international phase of the Global Innovator Award (gia), the leading global award that recognizes the most innovative shops in the segment, having its official ceremony held in Chicago (USA).

For 20 years on the market, the shop wills to serve its customers with more excellence, offering differentiated products, customized service in warm and pleasant environment. It acts as a retailer with innovation and the best national and international brands. The shop has also a gourmet area, which hosts courses, tastings and recording TV programs

gia Awards 2008-2009 

The Brazilian store Utilplast was honored as the winner of the Brazil gia Awards 2008-2009, attending the gala ceremony which took place in Chicago (USA), along with 20 other winning stores from all regions of the world. 

Excellence in retail and merchandising, the gia Award is the leading award in the retail household items sector in the world. Every year, the 20 winners from all regions of the world gather in Chicago for the gala ceremony to present the awards and choose the best five stores that will receive the Global Honoree Award.  Click here to view the photos. 

gia Awards 2007-2008

 

In the 2007-2008 edition of the gia Awards, the Brazilian shop Pepper was one of the winners of the international competition. The shop competed with representatives from other 23 countries, and shared the Global Honoree Award with Galeries Lafayette of France, Taste of Australia, Schafferer of Germany and Casa Palácio of Mexico. 

The main criteria that made Pepper one of five winners were innovative marketing activities and activities focused on specific sales channels by client type. Click here to view the photos.
